Wolverhampton Food bank
Wolverhampton Food bankÂ is aÂ ChristianÂ charity serving the need of the city’s poor committed to supporting families and individuals in crisis by providing parcels of good food and baby items.
ItÂ started in 2006 in a store cupboard in church, founders Gary and Caroline have seen there calling become a vital service to the city helping as many as 100 individuals &Â family’sÂ a week through crisis by providingÂ 3 days of nutritionally balanced tinned and dried food for each person in the family, as well as nappies & other baby items (wipes,food & toiletries).
The food bank collects food from manyÂ WolverhamptonÂ Church’s along with regularÂ delivery’sÂ from His-church ( a ministry who provide food for projects such as the Wolverhampton food bank) . Donations from individuals and localÂ business helpÂ sustainÂ them and theyÂ regularlyÂ pray for the food & finance to come in..Â the need is great.
